Celebrating our new integrated care clinic
On Tuesday, June 27th, The Mental Health Association of Westchester celebrated its new integrated care clinic in White Plains, alongside our partners at Sun River Health.
Joined by community partners, staff, Board members, Department of Community Mental Health Commissioner Michael Orth and White Plains Mayor Tom Roach, we marked the occasion with a ribbon cutting and open house event.
Announcing the Appointment of Stacey Roberts, LCSW as CEO
It is with great pleasure that The Mental Health Association of Westchester (MHA) announces the appointment of Stacey Roberts, LCSW as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Assuming this position is the culmination of Ms. Roberts’ more than twenty years of work with this agency. A skilled leader and clinician, Ms. Roberts began her professional career as a clinician at MHA. Throughout these years she has worked in, initiated and supervised programs throughout the agency.
Juneteenth Freedom Day
Juneteenth (June 19th) recognizes the end of slavery and specifically commemorates the events of June 19, 1865, the day the news of the Emancipation Proclamation reached Texas, freeing approximately 250,000 black people who remained enslaved there.

Join us this June in celebrating Pride Month!
Pride Month is a time for LGBTQ+ folks to gather and celebrate their freedom to live authentically. The LGBTQ+ community deserves affirmed, safe, supported, joyful, and mentally healthy lives.
As we celebrate the achievements and resilience of LGBTQIA+ individuals, we also take the opportunity to raise awareness of common barriers to seeking mental health care and advocate for environments that are informed, accepting and affirming.
